Hailey Bieber, who recently announced her pregnancy, just graced the new cover of W Magazine and opened up about the challenges of motherhood, married life, the rise of her successful Rhode Beauty brand, the pressure of living in the spotlight and more. Hailey Bieber’s pregnancy with Justin Bieber was kept secret for six months beforehand. ‘I probably could have hidden it until the end’ because I didn’t want to explain or give statements. I actually didn’t have a belly until I was six months pregnant, which is when I announced it. I couldn’t handle the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding a big secret and it didn’t feel right,’ she added. ‘I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.’
The businesswoman also said she has been in therapy to cope with the negative comments she has been receiving since she married Justin Bieber six years ago. ‘People have been making me feel really bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe we’re happy,’ she said. ‘I used to try to act like it hurt less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realise that it never really hurts any less.’ Hailey has confessed that she is still very much in love with her husband and is enjoying the last part of their relationship where it’s just the two of them.
The model has revealed that her relationship with her family has changed and that they have grown apart. Although she was very close to them as a child, now her family is Justin and the baby. Hailey has also advised not to get married so young. Another point of the conversation was that she hired a chef to cook for her. A few months ago she revealed on social media what snack she can’t miss during her pregnancy. And it’s a combination of foods so unexpected that she even warned her fans: ‘You’re not allowed to judge me! The snack she refers to is a slice of toast in which she substitutes a slice of bread for a slice of pickled gherkin. ‘Right now it’s my biggest craving: egg salad on pickle with hot sauce.
