After collaborating in 2014, Helmut Lang and UNIQLO are teaming up again for a limited capsule in which they redesign the Austrian brand’s classic jeans.
The “HELMUT LANG JEANS” label was first introduced in the brand’s Spring/Summer 1997 collection inspired by Levi’s Vintage. The new version called “Classic Cut” reimagines the New York-based label’s classic jeans with a more minimalist and refined look. Colour options include white, dark grey and dark indigo.
The upcoming pairs in collaboration with UNIQLO are designed to be genderless and comfortable for all ages. Stitching is in the same colour for a minimalist look and feel. Buttons and rivets in complementary shades create a simple, clean look. These are UNIQLO’s first jeans made from organic and recycled cotton.
The new UNIQLO x Helmut Lang pieces will be available online on 26 September and in select locations on 27 October.
