Having worked alongside the team at Supreme, The North Face is teaming up with Japanese footwear brand Hender Scheme to design a new collection of shoes and accessories that evoke the great outdoors.
This is not the first time the two brands have joined forces to create new designs; they have done so before in 2020 and 2021. Like their previous projects, the launch for this spring/summer 2022 season is focused on the outdoors.
In addition to Schlaf boots, they have also designed the VECTIV Escape shoes. Schlaf is a snow boot with a technical aesthetic that features a waterproof nylon upper. It also comes with a Vibram sole, an adjustable lace-up at the back and both brands’ logos.
The other silhouette called VECTIV Escape features a knit upper and comes with TPU overlays and a quick release lacing system. The semi-thick soles are made with EVA cushioning and CTRL™ rubber for durability.
In terms of accessories, Hender Scheme and The North Face have introduced a Wasatch backpack and MB Lumbar duffel bag, both made with 1680D Cordura Ballistic® nylon and cowhide, and come with removable pockets.
La colección se lanzará el 2 de abril exclusivamente en Japón a través de Hender Scheme.
