Here’s why Zendaya won’t be at the Met Gala (again)

For the third consecutive year, Zendaya will miss the most important fashion event. A unique night to be held on 2 May. We tell you why:

No. The Euphoria actress has nothing against the MET Gala. But Zendaya is a woman with a very busy schedule. As she assured the press during the HBO series’ For Your Consideration event: “I’m sorry to disappoint my fans but I’ll be working. I wish everyone the best, but this girl’s got to work and shoot some movies. I’ll be playing tennis.” The latter is nothing more than a reference to her upcoming big screen role: Challengers.

Zendaya last attended the MET in 2019, where she dazzled in a light blue Tommy Hilfiger gown, custom-made for the Camp: Notes on Fashion-themed celebration.
