Inditex to charge for online home deliveries and returns

Spanish fashion multinational Inditex has finally decided to put an end to the practice of free online shipping.

With the sales season now open, the Spanish multinational fashion company. Inditex, the leading company that includes Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and Zara Home, has decided to put an end to the practice of free online shipping.

If you checkout online with a basket full of discounted items, you will have to pay 3.95 euros shipping costs to receive them at home. Even if you spend more than the standard 30 euros. For non-discounted items, shipping remains free of charge. This is the new measure introduced by Inditex.

A solution that the different fashion groups have been using to continue to gain market share in the digital channel. With the exception of those shipments with in-store collection, and for orders over 30 euros in Zara and Stradivarius and 40 euros in Oysho.

It is also contemplated that in the case of Zara, all discounted items will be excluded from this minimum amount. A circumstance that we will have to wait and see how it ends up affecting Zara when it officially opens its summer sales period today.

The measure, which has already been applied by the Spanish Group indiscriminately in different countries, has now reached Spain. These directives can easily be consulted directly from each of the official online platforms of the Group’s various chains.
