Jil Sander x Arc’teryx masterly fuses aesthetics and functionality

The long-awaited collaboration between Jil Sander and Arc’teryx for the FW21 season is here. In it, we see how the German designer perfectly versions the functionality of the outdoor brand through its luxury avant-garde.

In the minimalist collection, focused on the outdoors and performance, the creative directors have merged their codes by incorporating influences from skiing, snowboarding, and mountain sports. That vision is embodied in a series of jackets, bibs, and one-piece suits constructed in technical fabrics such as GORE-TEX 3L.

 

Beyond this material, other fabrics such as leather are superimposed to give rise to new shapes and silhouettes bathed in the neutrality of black and white, as well as in a blue-grey color that visually drinks from the glaciers.

 

Jil Sander+ x Arc’teryx will be launched on 10 November on the Jil Sander and Arc’teryx websites, in their physical shops, and at retailers such as SSENSE.
