The collaboration between designer Juan Vidal and Woop Rugs has consisted of the design of two exclusive rugs and a capsule collection inspired by the collaboration, which is already on sale on the Es Fascinante platform.
The Juan Vidal x Wood Rugs collection was inspired by the New York Times article that included the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) request to the main international fashion headers to avoid the promotion of fur in their pages, urging them to reconsider their values.
The collaboration between the Alicantino designer and the Bilbaína carpet firm is materialized with two exclusive designs that are included in the We Care line. A pattern full of color, dynamism and harmony, whose essence is based on the inspiration of several concepts in an ironic way and in the seventies.
This collection is not only special because of the nexus of both firms, but also because of the vindictive message it conveys in the carpet, specifically, the design combines the imitation of animal print with red paint stains that empower the protests in favor of sustainability.
Taking advantage of the development of the concept that has given birth to the collaboration with Woop Rugs, the firm Juan Vidal has created a capsule collection composed of four looks made of recycled fibers printed with the graphic motifs of the collaboration.
