Earlier this year, the British designer launched an open call for young photographers to participate in the Your Picture / Our Future initiative with the aim of opening the doors to new talent. Now, after an extensive evaluation process – more than 2000 people have applied – the final images of the winners have been published.

Finally, among all the participants: Julie Greve, Simons Finnerty and Yelena Beletskaya have won the award, no less than the possibility to photography one of the new images from the JW Anderson (@jw_anderson) campaign.

The process was “simple”, hand in hand with Anderson and his team, each photographer was given a representation of the women’s and men’s clothing collections, allowing them to bring their own perspective to the project. The result… An epic campaign, where each of the images shows a different vision but at the same time all of them are connected under the unique but unfiltered essence of the brand.

Probably this is an start of a new wave… What do you think about designers opening these competitions so that young talents can be recognized?Leave your comments at the end of the post.
