Kardashian clan may not be invited to the next Met Gala

We are less than two months away from the Met Gala and rumours are already circulating about the exclusive guest list. To our surprise, the Kardashian-Jenner clan might not be invited.

Sources say that Anna Wintour, who decides who gets the privilege of attending the gala, is thinking about trimming this year’s guest list and it looks like Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie won’t be getting the invite. Yes, despite being one of the most anticipated guests each year, they are thinking of cutting back on the most famous family on television.

It is believed that there will be no exceptions within the family, which means that not even Kim, Kendall or Kylie, who are the most involved within the industry will be able to attend one of the most anticipated events of the season. In fact, the SKIMS founder has been on the guest list since 2013, while Khloé and Kourtney went last year for the first time.

Does that mean that this year we won’t get to see Kim outdo herself after the controversial Marilyn Monroe dress? Nor will we witness the family pay tribute to Karl Lagerfeld’s career? Will Kendall, who was the Kaiser’s muse, not be invited? All these questions are up in the air because the guest list has not yet been confirmed.

Despite the rumours, all is not lost, a source close to the Kardashian’s denied the rumour about their “disinvitation” to the Met Gala. The clan is not the only one who could be affected by this reduction of the list, other influencers and artists like Emma Chamberlain, James Charles and Addison Rae are in the same. We’ll have to wait until 1 May to find out.
