Kenzo changes its logo one month before its PFW show

Kenzo has presented a new logo that seeks to “write a new chapter in its history” with the arrival of Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

Japanese fashion brand Kenzo (@kenzo) has unveiled a new logo that seeks to “write a new chapter in its history” with the arrival of Portuguese designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista as its new creative director.

Kenzo’s logo has been updated just before Baptista’s first collection (@felipeoliveirabaptista) for the label, which will be presented during Paris Fashion Week. It’s designed as a construction set becoming a crucial part of the fashion house’s visual identity.

The main reason for this change is to show the spirit of the brand while remaining “enthusiastic, nomadic and open to the world, honoring the universe of its founder Kenzo Takada.

Kenzo has confirmed that they will skip the men’s fashion week in favour of the women’s fashion week in Paris in February. Felipe Oliveira Baptista, who was appointed new creative director in July 2019, will present his first collections for the house next month.
