L.A.’s Primavera Sound is postponed until 2022

The American edition of one of the most important festivals in our country, Primavera Sound, is full of news. After everything was planned for the first edition of the P.S. to be held in the city of Los Angeles, it will finally have to be postponed because of the pandemic until 2022.

Few other details are known at the moment, except for the days on which the festival will be held and its location. It will be held from 16 to 18 September in the “State Historic Park” in Los Angeles. In addition and as a bonus to this postponement, the organisers and promoters of the festival have already confirmed that Primavera Sound 2022 in L.A. will have an extra day. Cool, right?

If it materialises, this American edition of the festival will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in style, with a triple edition, which will be held in Barcelona, Oporto and Los Angeles. The organisation’s intention is to establish itself permanently in the city of “celebrities”. Finally, with regard to the line-up and the selection of artists, all kinds of information is still unknown, but we are sure that they will surprise us a lot…
