For the fourth year running, the brand has become the tournament’s official sponsor.
Lacoste is reaffirming its position at one of the most significant events on the international calendar: the Mutua Madrid Open, and is doing so through a narrative that brings together sport, style and culture.
The tournament once again brings together Team Lacoste, a line-up that embodies the essence of the brand through Daniil Medvedev, Grigor Dimitrov, Arthur Fils, Ugo Humbert, Eva Lys and Alexander Blockx, who will take to the clay courts to showcase a vision of tennis that goes beyond mere performance.
This season also sees the launch of a co-branded capsule collection that reinterprets the classic codes of tennis through a contemporary lens. The net – an essential element of the game – is transformed into a graphic pattern that runs throughout the collection, adding texture and dynamism to the garments. The colour palette balances blues with white and terracotta accents, as a direct nod to clay courts. Designed for men, women and children, the collection straddles the line between technical and everyday wear, integrating itself into the tournament itself by serving as the ball boys’ and girls’ uniforms.
Inside the Caja Mágica, Lacoste has created its own ecosystem, where the shops serve as hubs showcasing both the official kits and the capsule collection, alongside a range of exclusive merchandise that capitalises on the boom in sports merch. The experience is enhanced by customisation options and a selection of the brand’s iconic pieces, from the classic polo shirt to the season’s new essentials.
Meanwhile, the Sky Lounge returns as an elevated meeting place for guests and VIPs, whilst the Espace Lenglen pays tribute to one of Lacoste’s most recent icons: the bag of the same name.
