Lanvin explores poetry in motion within skateboarding

Lanvin dedicates a love letter to the world of skateboarding with its new collection “Poetry in Motion”, exploring the male wardrobe.

Lanvin once again dedicates a love letter to the world of skateboarding with his new collection “Poetry in Motion”, in which he explores the patterns of contemporary menswear.

Creative director Bruno Sialelli presents a capsule for modern urban explorers interested in the world of fashion. Skaters are now dressed in a range of premium sartorial fabrics and materials, including silk, virgin, and merino wool.

French photographer and skater Djiby Kebe takes us on a ride through this series through a series of exclusive images that capture the essence of the collection characterized by an aesthetic twist to the garments; something we can see in the classic jackets, some sleeveless and others with zipped pockets.

The “Mother & Daughter” logo takes on a strong presence on jumpers and bracelets, while the “JL” monogram accentuates denim pieces and caps. Turning the focus down to footwear, Lanvin’s iconic Curb Sneakers inspired by 90s skatewear close out some of the outfits, with their laces transferring to sweatshirts and details on the waistband of XXL trousers.

The “Poetry in Motion” collection is now available on Lanvin.com and in the brand’s boutiques globally.
