Late Checkout, C. Tangana’s clothing label together with Alex Turrión, returns for its second release “The Bellboy: Chapter II” inspired by the filmography of Wes Anderson and the pictorial works of David Hockney.
Founded in 2019 by Antón Álvarez and his creative partner Alex Turrión, the brand arose naturally in response to the artist’s interest in the world of fashion. After endless tours, nights in hotels, long working days and endless parties, the brand was born under the premise Late checkout Issa lifestyle.
For the autumn/winter 2021 season, the brand continues to tell the story of its character The Bellboy, with a campaign that takes us back to the 1970s, with references to Wes Anderson’s universe, David Hockney’s paintings and Robert Colescott’s everyday scenes.
The new collection “The Bellboy: Chapter II” includes everything from knitwear and outerwear to sweatshirts, tights and shirts. An eclectic capsule presented through a campaign that shows different everyday scenes of a bellboy from The Grand Budapest Hotel version Made in Spain.
The second collection, which will be launched on 12 November, will be available in the Late Checkout webshop.
