Levi’s Vintage Clothing teams up with Clarks Originals for a Manchester-inspired collection. The result is “Loose Fix”, and puts the spotlight on new versions of the classic Clarks Wallabees. Ready?
For the SS21 season, Levi’s and Clarks revisit the iconic Manchester music scene of the 80s. Putting a twist on the classic Madchester style, they’re proposing new and evocative iterations of the Clarks Wallabees silhouette.
The collection features three special edition shoes perfect for the season. Launching under the name “Loose Fix” are the Wallabee, in pink suede, mauve nubuck trim and laces; Desert Boot, featuring Clarks’ signature two-piece suede design in light blue and lavender; and Weaver, a two-tone yellow suede silhouette with nubuck detailing.
Levi’s designer Paul O’Neill said: “When we were putting together the ‘Loose Fix’ collection, we thought it would be amazing to collaborate with Clarks to coincide with it. They were really big in Manchester in the ‘80s and throughout the UK. I’ve probably been wearing them myself for the last 30 years. It’s just a really old school approach to making shoes that are timeless, shoes people will always love. These are all traditional Clarks shoes with a contemporary approach to color.”
The Levi’s Vintage Clothing x Clarks Original collaboration will be available on the Levi’s website and in selected shops from 11 June.
