It’s a fact that all the cool girls in Los Angeles wear vintage clothes redesigned by another cool girl from L.A.: Sami Miró. That’s why Levi’s didn’t hesitate to collaborate with the vintage fashion brand on a denim capsule.
The woman who got Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Hailey Baldwin, Sophia Richie and Drake to wear reused clothes is collaborating with Levi’s. With a focus on sustainability, the pair have used the brand’s recycled jeans and Truckers to create six denim garments. The launch includes two new versions of Sami Miro’s Porterhouse Jeans, as well as an ultra-short Circle Trucker Jacket, a Circle Top with straps and a Circle Trench Coat.
“My first designs for Sami Miro Vintage were recycled garments from vintage Levi’s and those styles remain a line of the brand.” She added: “Of all the denim brands, Levi’s has the most beautiful wear. It’s impossible to emulate it again. That’s what I find so beautiful about vintage in general, not only is each garment the only one in the world in its exact condition, but there is also a story behind each piece and its journey. There is a life that breathes inside these garments that have lived”.
