LOEWE has unseated Prada, which had held the top spot for two quarters. The new fashion brand has achieved its position thanks to its multiple distinctive runway shows, in addition to the launch of the famous Anagram Tank Top and Raffia Tote Bag, and its glitch-core viral silhouettes.
Versace is in third place, up five from the last ranking, probably under the influence of its collaboration with Dua Lipa and her fashion show. It is followed by Miu Miu, Bottega Veneta, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Moncler and Gucci respectively, ending with Dior in tenth place.
In the top 20 are Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry and Jacquemus in that order. Balenciaga comes in at 16th, and behind Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS, Nike, Fendi and JW Anderson at 20th.
As for the most popular products of the season, LOEWE’s sleeveless T-shirt takes the top spot, followed by Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico 66 sneakers, which “generated more than 113 million views on TikTok, as Y2K-inspired trends continue to spark excitement among Generation Z shoppers,” according to the report.
Versace’s Maxi Medusa Biggie sunglasses take third place, followed by LOEWE’s raffia bag, Aimé Leon Dore’s 1906R New Balance, Agolde’s jorts, Alaïa’s mesh ballerinas, The Row’s City “Quiet Luxury” flip-flops, Longchamp’s Le Pliage bag, and, it seems due to the rise of Succession, a Loro Piana cap in tenth place.
The report also names some “breakthrough brands rising fast on a powerful and rapid upward trajectory,” and in this quarter’s case they are Goyard, Posse and Loro Piana.
