Louis Vuitton ‘Color Blossom’ family welcomes Amazonite

A gemstone known for its bluish-green, mint-like colour and sensual translucency.

Since it was first presented in 2015, the fine jewellery line known as ‘Color Blossom’ has taken the industry by storm thanks to its floral motifs inspired by the Maison‘s emblems. The pieces, which represent these icons devised by George Louis Vuitton in 1989, are radiant, voluptuous and have been treated by hand in order to sublimate their brilliance and iridescence. Pearly pink and white flowers combine with the vibrant hues of malachite, the red of carnelian and the opaque intensity of onyx, and are available in infinite sizes and variations.

Now, the collection is pleased to add a very special new gemstone to the family: Amazonite. Native to the Amazon River, as its name suggests, it is one of the most prized gemstones for its striking blue-green colour and rich range of hues. In addition, its level of translucency brings the ultimate fresh touch to the Color Blossom line through four new jewels: a cocoar with a flower-shaped pendant; an elegant bracelet decorated with a small diamond and an Amazonite flower; and a distinguished sautoir and bracelet alternating Amazonites with diamond pavé flowers.
