Pei’s Miho Museum near Kyoto, the Salk Institute in California or Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore, among others. The last stop on Louis Vuitton’s journey in the Catalan capital will transport its attendees to one of Europe’s most vibrant and dynamic cities.

The Cruise runway show, which encapsulates the vision of Nicolas Ghesquière, Creative Director of the Women’s Collections, as well as the upcoming Louis Vuitton Cup and the 37th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup will undoubtedly epitomise a long relationship between Louis Vuitton and the city,” says Pietro Beccari, Creative Director of the Women’s Collections. – says Pietro Beccari, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton.
In addition to the fashion show, Louis Vuitton will celebrate the LV Cup and the 37th edition of the America’s Cup in Barcelona with a programme that will include multiple events, an exhibition and other cultural activations with guests from around the world. The Maison will take advantage of this unique occasion to present its eagerly awaited Barcelona Travel Guide in a pop-up kiosk. Barcelona and Louis Vuitton are also working on a series of educational programmes to support creativity and design in the city.
Louis Vuitton’s relationship with Barcelona dates back to the early 20th century, when the Maison played an active role in the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition, which brought together industry, art and innovation. Georges Vuitton, Louis Vuitton’s son, was not only on the jury, but was also awarded a prize for his boots for carrying toiletries. Louis Vuitton chose the city of Barcelona to open its first shop in Spain in 1987 and currently has two stores in the Catalan capital.
