The French creator, famous for her regenerative and recycled fashion, will be catwalking in Florence on 12 June, as part of the 106th edition of the leading men’s fashion show, to be held from 11 to 14 June 2024, where she will show the men’s collection for the Spring-Summer 2025 season of her ready-to-wear brand, recognisable by its famous crescent moon logo.
“It’s an honour for me and my team to be the guest designer at Pitti Uomo this season. We hope to bring the essence of Marine Serre to Florence, mixing craftsmanship in our own way and shaking up the lines of what is expected to be, putting imagination at the service of transformation,” she said. On 12 June, Marine Serre will present its men’s fashion show.
“Marine Serre’s shows convey a special feeling. From her vision and trajectory, which we have been observing for several seasons now, there is a concentration of pride and discipline. Influenced by her past as an athlete, Marine designs garments that are ready to transcend generational limitations and the passage of time. Clothes that can go out into the world, that are beautiful to look at and to touch, that speak of mental attitude and personality, of style and charm,” explains Francesca Tacconi, special events coordinator at the Florentine Pitti Immagine fair.
Normally she usually includes her men’s looks in her women’s collection shows, but since January 2024 Marine Serre decided to separate the two worlds, giving more space to her men’s line with her first full men’s collection at Paris Fashion Week. Now, it’s her turn to present the next one at the Florentine trade fair Pitti Uomo.
