We are experiencing great changes within fashion: mixed fashion shows, presentations outside the catwalk, reversal of roles and the latest trend that’s consist in present the collection via lookbook, far away from the heat of the catwalk. This last option was chosen by the British Martine Rose, who has just presented her proposal for the FW18.
She presents us a lookbook that gathers a re-elaboration of her works throughout the last decade and groups them under a collection for next autumn / winter. This time the designer draws on the influence of Jamaican dance halls, the rave culture of the 1990s and British punks and skins.
Martine Rose - FW18
Among the garments we can find: T-shirts with football aesthetics, oversize button T-shirts, a mix in the choice of fabrics and above all a great conceptual load and history throughout all the pieces. Martine is a designer destined to conquer the heart of all fashion lovers, we are sure that with this retrospective made collection will add many new followers #mustfollow.
A proposal that reviews Martine Rose’s 10 years (@martine_rose) and consolidates a unique way of understanding the current menswear.
