Following the launch of an environmentally friendly “Born to Protect” collection, Moncler returns for 2022 with the second instalment of this line. This time, the capsule extends beyond outwear.
Moncler, which was named one of the world’s most sustainable brands in November for the third year in a row, has once again used recycled nylon and polyester, as well as organic cotton and a host of other sustainable materials, to create a capsule that includes clothing for the whole family.
As Moncler moves forward, it has reinforced its purpose of protection by extending it to the planet. Fabrics, zips and accessories in a new range of jackets are made from ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon derived from marine and land-based waste, and which produces 40% less CO₂ emissions than a traditional nylon jacket.
What began as a mission to protect against the cold has now become a commitment to protect people and the planet, a monumental task acknowledged in the campaign with the words: “We used to climb mountains. Now, we must move them”.
