Tiffany & Co. is celebrating 160 years of making sports trophies at its famous workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island. To mark the occasion, the company has announced the launch of its latest The Ultimate Participation Trophy in collaboration with the creative collective MSCHF.
Tiffany & Co. and MSCHF have created a limited series of 100 trophies to celebrate the 160-year tradition of handcrafting these sporting goods at their famous workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The trophy design is a nod to horse racing and the first trophy Tiffany & Co. designed and handcrafted: the Woodlawn Vase.
“The Ultimate Participation Trophy” joins the firm’s collection of sports trophies. Such as the Commissioner Trophy, Vince Lombardi Trophy and Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. This is the first time Tiffany & Co. has offered customers the opportunity to receive items it creates for the world’s greatest champions in professional sports.
