MSGM launches first line of eco-friendly footwear “FG1”

Unveiled in the brand’s SS23 collection, MSGM incorporates the “FG1” line of eco-friendly sneakers developed thanks to ACBC, the first and only Italian BCorp in the footwear sector.

 

The FG1 shoes are available in two unisex versions, high and low, and in a wide range of colors. We can find them in the neutral tones black and nude and more vivid shades such as green and purple.

Their name is an acronym for “Fantastic Green 1”, in honor of the ecological project implemented by the Italian brand. For this, MSGM has placed its trust in ACBC, a certified brand recognized on the market for its research into innovative bio-based technology and recycled materials.

The aim of this initiative is to constantly seek organic materials and natural textures that respect biodiversity and the safety of the planet. The result is this new sneaker model, which combines a trendy look with an ecologically sensitive approach.

The upper is made of VegSkin, a natural material, while the sole is made with ReRubber technology, rubber waste. The laces and lining are RePet, made from recycled plastic bottles, which is guaranteed to save a large amount of CO2.
