Air Max Day is celebrated on 26 March 2024 to commemorate the legacy of the Air Max with the annual release of a new design or innovation centred on Air technology and a continued commitment to evolving this silhouette as a platform and Air cushioning. Although this year the Air Max DN model has been introduced, Nike never ceases to surprise us and updates the sneaker it launched last year, the Air Max Plus, with a football touch by adding the legendary tongue that covers the laces and a black leather that elevates it to another level.
This is the Nike Air Max Plus Tiempo, a hybrid between two silhouettes from the sports brand. In this way, the launch takes references directly from the Air Max and the Nike Tiempo football sneakers that date back to 1994. And with its 30th anniversary just around the corner, there has never been a better time to pay a heartfelt tribute to the footwear that caused a real commotion when it was seen on the feet of some of the stars such as Francesco Totti or Ronaldinho. A silhouette that was designed at the time by Sean McDowell.
The Nike Air Max Plus Tiempo will go on sale in the coming months at Nike on the Snkrs app and at select retailers worldwide.
