OCTOBER 2023: THE 6 EMERGING BRANDS YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS MONTH

Lately our DM is always full of links to Instagram profiles for us to discover new brands and give them coverage. “Mention in the comments that brand or that designer and we’ll take care of the rest,” we posted on our profile earlier this 2023. In less than 24 hours we received almost 1500 comments from the young promises that are making it big in the national fashion industry. With the aim that all these interesting projects are not lost in our DMs, each month we will choose 6 emerging brands and give them their space in HIGHXTAR. Here are the ones for October 2023!

The Artelier

The Artelier was born in 2020 from the union between Art and Atelier, two key foundations of the brand. Alba Ayza, founder of the brand, created it with the aim of innovating and constantly pursuing artistic expression through prints. One of the main challenges of the fashion industry is textile pollution and the outsourcing of production; for this reason, The Artelier is committed to producing locally, using recycled and organic fabrics.

Arturo de la Rosa

Arturo De la Rosa challenges the current fashion system by creating new narratives based on “upcycling”. He values the past and the history behind things as an added value to the present, rescuing forgotten techniques and materials to transform them into unique and unrepeatable fashion pieces.

Visori Studio

Visori Studio, located between Valencia and Madrid, reflects the personality of its designer and creative director, Javier Soria. Passionate about creating exclusive and unique pieces that exist only once, Soria has designed costumes for the latest musical by Nacho Cano, “Malinche”. His latest collection has been presented in Valencia, but he has stepped on a lot of fashion capitals to show his pieces. Her designs have already made women like Lola Indigo, Danna Paola, Samantha Hudson, etc. fall in love with her.

Keperezaxico

Pablo Bosch, the mind behind Keperezaxico is clear that his unique and own style adheres to the bakala movement, and takes it to the maximum. The Valencian conquered everyone after his appearance in the fifth season of the show Maestros de la Costura, and there are already many celebrities in the peninsula who wear his experimental pieces.

Charlie Smits

Charlie Smits is well known for his great talent as an illustrator and artist. With a precocious and self-taught talent since he was a teenager, Smits has collaborated with brands, musical artists, fashion capsule collections and animations for television… Now, he has embarked on the new adventure of creating fashion pieces, and it seems that he is showing signs of success judging by the fashion show he showed at the last MBFWM.

Habey Club

Habey Club emerged in 2015 from the hand of its creatives, David Salvador and Javier Zunzunegui. The project has been growing gradually, nationally and internationally. The brand is based on several fundamental pillars: the enhancement of craftsmanship and traditional techniques, the analysis of trends and their durability, as well as the use of recycled or natural fibers. Since 2016 when they made their debut on the Madrid catwalk, they have been looking for workshops with which to develop new ideas or product lines, always from the perspective of responsibility and learning, thus creating a network of collaborators who share their philosophy and approach to work.
