OD Hotels presented yesterday its new NFT art gallery titled 2.0 Expansion and located inside the Altitude room created by 0xWolfgang, the first architect of the metatarsus to build it on the Cyber platform.

The presentation, held yesterday at the Ocean Drive Madrid hotel, was given by Álvaro González, art director of OD Group, and Jaime Irles, head of events. Both explained the project and showed the gallery to the attendees and, after the talk, the 3D artist Toni Planells gave a masterclass explaining all the keys to art in NFT format.

Up to 30 new works

The Ocean Drive NFT Gallery collection is currently made up of 60 works after the latest addition of 30 new works. In it we can find a wide variety of creations by both local and international artists, including Josepa Elorza, Invader303, Stefano Colferai, Tony Babel and WhatIsReal, among many others.

During the presentation it was possible to visit the gallery from any electronic device and also through VR glasses and a completely immersive experience. To this end, some of the works were shown on quality screens and a QR code was made available to everyone.

First Spanish hotel chain with NFT collection

OD Hotels created its first collection of NFTs in September 2021, becoming the first hotel chain to commit to this type of digital art. A commitment to art not only in physical format with exhibitions in all its hotels but also by promoting works by artists in this new format and disseminating them through its social networks and its own OD Mag.
