The fashion label formed by the Swedish-born Berlin designer duo Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient, Ottolinger, has just presented a capsule collaboration for the upcoming Autumn/Winter 21 season together with one of China’s leading brands, Uooya. But for all those who don’t know this brand yet, we’ll tell you that it is characterised by refusing to follow the rules, by being enigmatic and unconventional. What do you think? interesting, isn’t it?
This collection by Ottolinger and Uooyaa is the first of a new series of experimental design launched by the former, with the aim of connecting and uniting avant-garde design with international, independent and pioneering designers.
Comprising twelve pieces and fusing traditional Chinese design, such as frog knot fastenings, with Cosima and Christa’s signature asymmetrical designs, this new alliance is characterised by the use of grey and black tones to design part of the collection. Among the pieces in the capsule we have to highlight their XL puffer coats or their jackets with blue-grey or yellow embroidery. Finally, we can’t forget their aquamarine quilted bags, which contrast perfectly with the looks.
What do you think of this collection by Ottolinger and Uooya? If you like it, you can get your hands on it from today on the Uooya website.
