Our Legacy Fall 22: an update of its classics

When Our Legacy first unveiled its Fall 22 collection in January, it was clear that its aim was to bring new energy to workwear style. Now the brand has surprised us again with its latest capsule, bringing an avant-garde twist to its classics.

By starting with classic garments such as coats, blazers, knitwear, button-down shirts, trousers, skirts and more, Our Legacy knew that through updates to these items so closely tied to formality, its new collection would be somewhere between modern and timeless.

The brand knew how to imbibe this idea, as the pieces were combined with relaxed silhouettes, wrap-around details, asymmetrical constructions, multi-fabric designs, oversized formal shirts and more. In terms of shoes, the line of boots and leather shoes stood out.

For the launch, the collection was captured by Thomas Hauser, a Berlin-based photographer whose work is noted for its poetic black and white imagery. The campaign was photographed in Berlin with a tone that suggests the conservative slant of the collection.

The Fall 2022 collection will be available worldwide from Friday 19 August in Our Legacy shops and online.
