Following the collaboration with Crocs or Reebok, PLEASURES has joined forces with Roland, the Japanese instrument company to present a new capsule collection. This collaboration coincides with the 40th anniversary of the drum machine: Rhythm Composer TR-808.
The L.A brand has created a special collection to celebrate forty years of history of the TR-808 Rhythm Composer drum machine. This device, designed to create demos for studio musicians, was launched in 1983. Among its many improvements over its predecessor, the CR-78, are the ability to program rhythms instead of using preset patterns and increased memory capacity. Aesthetically, the interface was also updated with 16 rows of buttons to facilitate step-by-step programming. Going thus to the history of hip-hop and especially of electronic music.
The capsule collection consists of a hooded sweatshirt, T-shirts and a cap. All pieces are illustrated with Roland’s iconic drum machine.
The new PLEASURES x Roland partnership is now available at Pleasure’s official website.
