Conceived by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons together, the autumn/winter 2021 for Prada men is already here.
The new Prada FW21 collection is based on an intimate and personal desire for contact, our drive for exchange and relationship. The foundation of everything is the individual: the human body and its freedom.
With a soundtrack that we are completely sure has been greatly influenced by the Belgian, the collection is presented with a production agile through velvety rooms: a clear reference to the sensations. Throughout the show, references to Calvin Klein and iconic pieces by Simons are more than apparent, especially with the appearance of the Bomber.
The FW21 is a proposal that perfectly mixes Raf codes with Miuccia elegance and in which overdimensioned patterns stand out.
According to Raf and Miuccia, the collection moves away from technological excess, moving much closer to sensitivity, contrasts and touch; things that are far from what technology can offer.
Above we leave the show, and what is more interesting: the colloquium of Prada and Simons about the why of the collection.
