The new RFS x Havana Club collaboration puts the focus on crafts and urban culture. The result is a capsule collection of sunglasses, a T-shirt, a set of dominoes and a limited edition of Havana Club 7 all made from a single material: havana acetate.
Cuban rum, Havana Club, joins the iconic eyewear firm Retrosuperfuture in celebrating Havana as a source of inspiration. Its culture, its city and especially the material that bears its name: havana, an acetate popular in the world of eyewear, are the essence of the capsule.
Havana Club continues to support urban culture through this collaboration. They have created unique sunglasses, a long-sleeved T-shirt and a classic handmade domino set in havana acetate, a highlight of the RSF collections. The final result materializes the brand’s link with the island’s identity, and brings the avant-garde closer to the history of rum.
The RSF X Havana Club sunglasses are a new interpretation of the classic Lira silhouette, characterized by its robust construction in extra thick havana acetate and the use of carved geometries. In addition, this union pays tribute to one of the most popular and classic street games in Havana: dominoes.
The collection of glasses, as well as the T-shirt and the dominoes, are now available on RSF website. The special and exclusive edition of the bottle can only be obtained through Havana Club’s raffles (@havanaclub) on its social networks.
