Rolex has just announced its new range of watches for 2020. The Swiss manufacturer has chosen to reinvent its classics in a new selection of colors and straps. In addition, these are presented with improved technology.
This 2020 Rolex is launching a new series of watches with improved technology and available in new shades and colors. The highlight of the launch has been its new range of “Submarines“. While its design follows the characteristics of its predecessor, a new machinery has been implanted in the watch driven by a completely renovated 3230 caliber. It has 70 hours of power and uses Rolex’s patented Chronergy system, a technology that improves both efficiency and reliability. Obviously, the watch retains its superlative chronometer as well as its precision of -2 / + 2 seconds per day.
Meanwhile, the new Date iterations of the Submariner family will receive 7 new variations. Most notably, a new Oystersteel “Kermit” with a ceramic bezel and a white gold Sub with a blue ceramic bezel will be introduced. The other five models include another Oystersteel version with a black bezel and dial, two bicolor Oystersteel and yellow gold models in black or blue, and two yellow gold references, also in black or blue. This replaces all models of the previous generation of Submarine Dates.
Rolex has also launched new versions of its Sky-Dweller. While the collection has the same features as before, you can now wear your watch with a sportier Oysterflex bracelet.
The aim of Rolex was to reinvent its icons. Thus, after having changed the look of its sportier models, it has also played with its classics. The Oyster Perpetual 36 family of watches will be available in an updated color range. Available in candy pink, yellow, green, coral red and turquoise, there will be no look that will resist them.
