Rosalía: star of the new Skims by Kim K campaign

Spanish singer Rosalia appears in the latest campaign for KIm K’s underwear brand, marking the first collaboration with SKIMS.

After her spectacular appearance at the MET Gala, creating the “chicken teriyaki” sandwich with Dabiz Muñoz and releasing a new video clip, the Catalan has signed a collaboration with Kim Kardashian’s underwear brand, SKIMS.

 

The friendship between Rosalía and the Kardashian clan has only just begun. Two of the most mediatic women of the moment have joined forces this week. The singer is the new image of the Cotton Collection line by SKIMS and she has made it known through some images on her Instagram in which she appears wearing a bra, tight leggings and a cap, all in white.

The brand has also unveiled its first campaign in English and Spanish by Rosalía with a statement for the first time in both languages on Instagram. The photographer behind the campaign is american Donna Trope, an artist who has previously worked for the brand. In the comment on the post, Skims defines Rosalía as “the global sensation”.

“Rosalía has been a great inspiration because she is willing to experiment and be daring with both her music and her personal style. This campaign is about that energy and confidence that she transmits to the world. And most of all, I’m proud that she’s wearing pieces from the best-selling Cotton Collection because they’re easy, classic pieces that make us feel great in our everyday lives,” says Kim K.

“I love SKIMS. Everything is so comfortable and at the same time makes me feel very sexy. I’m very excited to finally collaborate, especially on the Cotton Collection, which is my favourite,” says Rosalía. With this collaboration, the good relationship between the two businesswomen is evident. After 16 hours of publication, the collection has a waiting list of 800k people and 9000 reviews.
