Lately we haven’t stopped talking about Nike, but the reason is that the giant from Oregon never ceases to surprise us.
We were able to see them on the catwalk, but now we have access to a more detailed view of one of the most attractive collaborations of 2019. Sacai is once again associated with the Swoosh, this time with two emblematic silhouettes, the Blazer Mid and the Nike Dunk, combined in one and the Waffle Daybreak and the LDV Fusion under another model.
As for the Blazer-Dunk, the layered silhouette comes in two colors. The yellow iteration presents details in black and red, finished off with double cord, while the blue design contrasts with the white and black tones. First seen at Sacai’s Spring/Summer 2019 presentation, the Blazer mimics two classic Nike silhouettes and places them on top of each other, resulting in the two shades and intermediate shapes between the two models. This variant is expected to go on sale in February 2019.
As for the second proposal, the Sacai x Nike LDV Waffle Daybreak, continues to bet on the “double” game: double brand Swoosh, double reeds, double laces and an exaggerated sole that completes the overall look of this hybrid. The launch date for this model is January 2019.
