Shakira and Burna Boy star in Burberry Christmas campaign

Burberry has just released its Christmas campaign starring Shakira and Burna Boy, celebrating Riccardo Tisci’s codes for the last time.

Taking a surreal approach and welcoming the Christmas season, Burna Boy and Shakira become the main stars of a short film directed by Torso. In it, the Nigerian artist makes his way through the snow wearing a quilted plaid jacket and angel wings while dragging a sack of presents and holding a loving teddy bear.

At the same time, Shakira wears the sheer tulle dress with crystals worn by Lila Moss at this year’s MET Gala. This is the last campaign to feature the designs of Riccardo Tisci, who left the Burberry management team last September to begin a new phase in his career: relaunching his own brand.
