In the framework of Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo, and through a digitalized format according to the convulsive times, SHOOP presented on March 20 its collection for the autumn-winter 2021 season. The transformation embroiders the storytelling of this new episode that marks a before and after in the creative coalition of Yohei and Miriam.
The butterfly as a symbol of change and thread of the garments. Printed messages that read “the beginning of something wonderful”. SHOOP thus opened a new era illustrated through an audiovisual piece broadcast in streaming for TFW. The production company Bandiz Studio took part in this piece and Paty Abrahamsson was in charge of the creative direction.
In the collection, we can see a selection of oversize coats and suits with openings, animal print, technical fabrics in tune with the heritage of the firm, as well as large doses of velvet or denim (in collaboration with the Japanese brand Haruhito Jeans). Patchwork or knitwear also make up some looks with which to see the future of fashion.
SHOOP Clothing‘s conceptual innovation merges this time with artists X-presion Creativos in a capsule collection that includes eccentric pieces such as caps embroidered with hair. The independent brand captures the zeitgeist in this collection that embraces change and transcends any season to stay forever.
