Off-White™ celebrated the legacy of its founder Virgil Abloh in Paris with a ready-to-wear collection that reflects the codes of the quintessential streetwear brand.
The show, starring some of the world’s most renowned international supermodels, presented the ready-to-wear autumn 2022 collection under the name Spaceship Earth: an ‘Imaginary Experience’. It also included a couture line representing the iconic designer’s vision of this concept, which was “designed by Virgil and completed by the creative teams and collaborators he worked with”.
A speech by Pharrell Williams in which he expressed his understanding of the codes of urban fashion began the succession of looks, where the protagonists were the 28 haute couture looks worn by Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Serena Williams. Throughout the show, we could appreciate references to fashion icons such as the tribute to Sarah Jessica Parker with ‘The Carrie B’. All this under the soundtrack of DJ Jeff Mills.
