Spring settles in with the Gel-MC Plus by Asics x Bodega

Following their collaboration with Reebok for an exclusive Club C, Bodega teams up with ASICS to reinterpret the GEL-MC PLUS silhouette.

For the spring 2022 season, Bodega brings his vision to the Asics GEL-MC PLUS. Designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui, the model arrives in a combination of pastel colours: yellow, blue, mint and even orange and grey as a base, avoiding colour overload.

Bodega’s explosion of colour isn’t too surprising either, considering their Saucony Grid Azura 2000 “Ever Ready” and New Balance 997S “Better Days” collaborations. The colour choices make sense, as the brand was looking for a “colourful” and “not too colourful” shoe.

To celebrate Bodega’s 15th anniversary, the brand has printed “15 years” on the right insole, while the left side features the co-branded logo. The trainers come packaged in a special multi-coloured box with a key ring and colourful laces.
