Stüssy reworks the classic Birkenstock Boston Clogs

Birkenstock has just created a new must for the summer, and this time we’re not talking about the classic cork sandals with straps, but one of their most iconic models: the Boston Clog. The footwear brand collaborated with Stüssy to create the definitive remake of the silhouette, now in a range of sandy shades.

Birkenstock‘s many collaborations with designers like Rick Owens and Valentino are raising the heritage of the footwear brand that’s taking over the summer street syle. According to Lyst’s data, in the last month, his research on the platform has registered a 225% increase.

Now, the artisan brand has teamed up with the skatewear brand to reissue its Boston Clog model. The menu features two colorways, anthracite and bone, from the clog made of corduroy (a material associated to Stüssy’s imaginary). The silhouette is complemented by a classic adjustable strap with a Birkenstock buckle.

The logo of the Californian brand appears in a subtle way on the sidewall of the Clog. They rest on a Birkenstock anatomical cork insole with an integrated latex foam cushion and suede lining along with an EVA sole.

The new Stüssy x Birkenstock Boston Clogs will be available at selected retailers from August 21 for $188.
