Following the launch of its SS22 collection and the collaboration with adidas, NOAH has decided to launch for its Surf line new wetsuits with innovative Yamamoto #40 fabrics.
In the 1960s, the Yamamoto Corporation pioneered a new process for manufacturing neoprene from calcium carbonate found in limestone. Titled Yamamoto #40, the neoprene is 99.7% waterproof and extremely lightweight, flexible and insulating.
This material has been chosen by NOAH not only for its quality but also for its sustainable properties. Unlike other wetsuits, Yamamoto #40 is not petroleum-based and the company uses hydroelectric power and recycles its wastewater.
The launch includes four wetsuits with custom designs from Tulips, Oysterman, Core Logo and Sandpiper. The Yamamoto #40 wetsuits are best suited for temperatures between 55 and 62 degrees Fahrenheit. The collection also includes a surf cap.
