The eccentric and disproportionate B-IT flip-flops by Balmain

With a distinctive curved silhouette and cushioned design, Balmain’s B-IT flip-flops feature cushioned uppers and futuristic lines.

Made from soft leather in Italy and unveiled on the catwalk in September 2021, the new flip-flops inspired by Japanese Geta and Okobo sandals and speedboats are set to eclipse the season. Of course, the proportions of this shoe are totally exaggerated and this has won over trensetters, as they are already sold out on the Balmain website.

The silhouette manages to perfectly combine streamlined minimalism with generously padded luxury. Although the first release was composed of minimalist shades: black and white. Balmain’s creative director of shoes, Safa Sahin, says on his Instagram account that the model will also be released in bold shades of pink and green.

These laceless shoes incorporate the many technical and structural advances introduced to Balmain trainers in previous seasons, as the house continues to perfect its “out-of-this-world” designs while expanding the possibilities of lightness and extreme comfort that can be achieved with the help of the label’s unique “shock absorbers”.
