In order to facilitate a comfortable visit and ensure optimal working conditions for museum staff, the Louvre will limit daily visits to 30,000 people.
It is one of the most important meeting points in Paris and welcomes countless people. To avoid crowds and ensure a pleasant stay in the museum, a new measure has been introduced: 30,000 visitors per day.
This was announced by Laurence des Cars, President and Director of the Louvre, who welcomed the “extremely positive figures for 2022” and hopes that “visitors will enjoy spending time at the Louvre, particularly those discovering the museum for the first time, who represent 60% of them. We are increasingly focused on improving visiting conditions and continuing to offer a high quality programme and a unique offer of live shows that resonate with what is presented on the premises”.
And speaking of museums… Did you know that the Grand Egyptian Museum will open its doors this year?
