The MSCHF BWD shoe can be worn on both sides

MSCHF’s extravagant new design features an opening at the toe for front and back styling.

The MSCHF art company that went viral with the popular Big Red Boot and recently released its Super Normal 2 under its signature sarcastic tone, now unveils its ‘BWD‘ sneaker. This curious design features a dual-purpose system, with an opening at the toe in addition to the usual foot entry on the opposite side.

The bi-directional silhouette allows several options for styling the shoe, something that probably hasn’t been seen before. Except for this particular feature, the model is simple, with a white leather upper, perforated decoration and a stripe design near the ankle. The heel is decorated with red suede, which also includes the brand’s triple exclamation mark motif and small arrows that seem to be there to guide to the “correct” use of the shoe. The triple exclamation mark is also included on the rubber midsoles and bottoms.

The innovative creation will be available April 11 via the MSCHF app.

And speaking of footwear, check out the new collection of sneakers in the metaverse and in the real world from Balmain x Space Runners.
