Yes, we know it’s still too early to think about Fall-Winter, as there are still many weeks of good weather and vacations left, but ASICS’ new silhouettes are all you need for the new season.
The GT-2160, which debuted at Paris Fashion Week as part of a collab with Dime, arrives with a new variant. The new silhouette maintains its 2000s OG aesthetic, with 2010s detailing. The sneaker includes a segmented midsole and GEL technology capsules, paying homage to the GT-2000. With a white background colorway, the GT-2160 comes in Pure Silver with orange accents and Shamrock Green.
As for the GEL-KAYANO™ 14, it comes back in two colorways: pink and bright green. An iconic model from the late 2000s, this new version of the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 is the first shoe designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. The insole is produced using a mass dyeing process that reduces water consumption by 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45%.
The retail price of the GT-2160™ White / Pure Silver & the GT-2160™ White / Shamrock Green is 130€. The retail price of GEL-KAYANO™ 14 Pink Glo / Black & GEL-KAYANO™ 14 Bright Lime is 160€.
The Asics GT-2160™ and the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 are available online. Without a doubt, both silhouettes will be another hit from the sports giant.
