It is a luxurious loudspeaker that has been designed to accompany us wherever we go and express our identity. The LV Nanogram draws on the savoir-faire and creativity that so characterises the essence of Louis Vuitton, reflected in its refined design and its structure inspired by the iconic Tolupie bag.
There are three different options including the special edition Damoflage imagined by Pharrell Williams, a breakthrough in the creative history of the fashion house thanks to its compact and modern body with handcrafted details by the prestigious team of craftsmen. Notably, the speaker allows for a reclining position, similar to a spinning top when it stops moving, thus becoming a dynamic platform and offering a powerful sound experience. It has been designed in conjunction with Harman, a renowned sound company, so that the sound waves it emits fill the room with a remarkable frequency response and reach a volume of up to 84 decibels with an autonomy of 17 hours.
It features a leather handle exactly like those found on historic Louis Vuitton trunks, and has been finished with yellow stippling and red-tinted edges. The handle interlocks with the speaker via carved steel studs, a nod to the rivets that held the wooden poles that reinforced the structure of early trunks.
The body features the iconic Monogram flowers carved in bas-relief, as well as the laser-cut perforated aluminium grille, which reveals the initials LV. The rubber ring has been decorated with the twelve letters that form the Maison‘s name, which are illuminated by LED light when the device is switched on. The finishing touch is provided by the delicately carved steel buttons.
