As the colour palette darkens towards winter, we look ahead to the upcoming summer season, presenting the colour trends for spring-summer 2022 seen at the latest catwalk shows.
Following the coordinates of Fashion for Breakfast and its colour analysis through the last fashion weeks, “Pantone 19-3748 Prism Violet” is established as the first shade to be highlighted. The bright purple colour with a mystical effect has been spotted on the catwalk through both athletic and romantic garments that are very inspirational.
In this palette of cool tones, we also find “Pantone 17-4435 Malibu Blue”: a blue taken from the depths of the ocean. Also “14-4320 Baltic Sea”: a much lighter and brighter shade.
The hot pink and/or “Pantone 17-2435 Pink Glo” has made all those looks associated with “femininity” vibrate with its fluorescent effect. In the same line of eccentricity, we find “Pantone 14-0340 Acid Green“: an acid green tone similar to Bottega’s, which charges any outfit with energy.
Finally, FFB locates “Pantone 12-0741 Sunny Lime“, one shade below the acid lime effect, which completes the color palette for the SS22 season.
