To celebrate the Tokyo Olympics, Nike has joined forces with Off-White, Ambush, Undercover and Sacai to launch sportswear collections. Collaborations with these acclaimed brands will begin dropping this month.
The most anticipated Swoosh collaboration is with Off-White™. Virgil Abloh‘s latest designs come in the form of T-shirts, shorts, shorts, jogging trousers, utility, cycling style and socks. Plus, a new model of the Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% arrives.
Next up is Chitose Abe from sacai, who has created a series of sportswear consisting of bomber jackets, short tights and windbreakers. We could say that this is one of the collections that has been more in line with what we are used to.
Ambush by Yoon Ahn was inspired by the futuristic aesthetics of Japan’s capital city. Silhouettes include trousers and biker-style jackets that come in neon pink/black and neon green/black. “I wanted to try something new and take a risk,” Ahn said of his collection.
Finally, Jun Takahashi of Undercover has designed a range of basketball-inspired garments. The T-shirt and shorts sets are printed with the invented league called “UBA”, along with the brand’s signature words “CHAOS” and “BALANCE”.
Head to the Nike online shop for more information on the collaborations. Below are the release dates for each collection.
Off-White ™ – 23 July
Undercover – 28 July
Ambush – 30 July
Sacai – 4 August
