UGG won’t leave us this summer, back in sandal form

Yes, UGG’s Classic Ultra Mini model was one of the most coveted of the season. In fact, celebrities claim that they are on trend. However, UGG ankle boots also have many detractors because of their appearance. We’re sure that their new sandals will surprise you.

The brand has collaborated with fashion designer Feng Chen Wang on an innovative sheepskin boot that transforms into a perfect summer sandal. In the same vein of functionality, this versatile model puts UGG at the forefront of comfort and style.

Creating transformable boots was no easy task “Initially, it was a challenge to design a pair of boots for summer while maintaining their classic design,” explained creative Wang. “To do so, I chose to turn the boots into a pair of three-in-one sandals that break the seasonal barrier.” 

Two modular elements, a leather boot liner and a sandal with adjustable buckle, can be worn alone or together, giving the possibility of having three different shoes in one. The unisex silhouette is presented in UGG’s signature chestnut colour, accented with Wang’s key aesthetic touches.
