Virgil Abloh to launch 50 Off White x Nike Dunk colorways

Off White’s creative director has a line of fifty Off-White x Nike Dunk Low shoes in the works for release in 2021. Immersed in the “Dear Summer” collection, they make up Virgil Abloh and Nike’s most expansive project yet.

The 50 colourways of the Dunk Low vary on the lacing, tongue, sock liner, zip and side swoosh overlay. Most feature a white and grey colour scheme, while the latest pair appears in black with a metallic swoosh. Vibrant accents on the additional trail-inspired laces add that pop of colour to the sneaker’s neutrality.

Each of the iterations is individually numbered in Virgil x Nike‘s most ambitious collaboration yet: a creative union that began in 2017 and has now emerged as one of the most coveted in the industry.

Abloh has not revealed any information about the launch of the “Dear Summer” collection, nor the exact inspiration behind it, but he is sure to talk about it in the coming months. What we do know is that “The 50” will mark a before and after in their collaborative trajectory.
